Purple home accessories

Today’s blog post on purple home accessories is inspired by the changing weather – and not a touch of grey on here today!It’s a grey and drizzly day here at BSUK, the heating is on and I’m wearing a jumper… in August! It seems that the British summer may well and truly be over, but it’s nice to start cosying up your home ready for the colder months. I’m actually looking forward to turning on the wood-burner and snuggling up on the sofa with a soft blanket.

Purple is a wonderful colour and I’ve gone for bold vibrant shades of purple home accessories. Be careful not to overdo the colour though, as too much purple in your living room can look really awful. I’d recommend breaking up or toning down the purple with a complementary colour depending on which shade of purple you choose.
