I managed to make it over to Etsy House in Covent Garden recently, and it was the inspiration for the blog post Get knitted out which was really popular! Unfortunately I fell poorly just after and so this blog post is coming a little late! It was a fantastic event featuring some of the best that Etsy has to offer all under one roof. The queues were forming around the block just to get in after the press launch finished!
Becoming a finalist in the Amara Interior Blog Awards not only gave me the confidence to be braver with my blog, but it also helped to get my blog noticed. Several fantastic brands have got in touch since and asked me to review and write their products and invited me to press events too. Unfortunately as a single mum with a day job, I had to turn down several press events as I couldn’t attend. So I’m quite selective over what I go to just as much as what I feature on this blog.
There were so many fabulous treasures available to browse and buy at Etsy House and here are some of the items features along with links back to the site so you can browse and buy too (plus there’s a discount code below so keep scrolling)…

I was given a lovely Etsy canvas shopper to take away filled with treats from the event. It included postcards featuring some of the best that Etsy has to offer – these are going to go up on the wall by my desk to inspire me!
Handmade letterpress goods by Cerulean Press
Included in the goody bag was an Etsy voucher so we could go away and purchase something online. I spent ages and ages browsing the website – I could have bought so many lovely items for my home or for my son… but then decided to treat myself for once! I ended up choosing the gorgeous 14ct gold filled Sprinkle Bracelet handmade by Maria at theLipstickDiaries – it arrived the next day beautifully packaged and it was such a treat to receive! I put it on straight away and it looks fab with the watch I received for my 18th birthday and bracelet I received for my 30th!
Maria also sent me a 5% discount code to share with you all to use too – just use the discount code: LIPSTICKFRIEND
Did you make it to Etsy House – let me know what your favourite item was!

Great blog, lots of nice stuff, do you know how the name ETSY came about ? Does it have anything to do with the Greek word pronounced in the same way meaning “done like this”
