Unique handmade and personalised gifts are a fantastic Christmas present idea, and with websites like Etsy it’s much easier to find and connect with people who make beautiful Christmas gifts. A big tip when choosing a gift that needs to be handmade or personalised is to order early – very early. Many good artists and designers gets booked up quickly especially in December so get your orders in quick!
This beautiful Dear Santa plate was designed by ceramic artist Catherine Colgrave, owner of Little Willows. It’s a lovely way to teach little ones about the tradition of leaving a mince pie and carrot for Santa and Rudolph (and a large glass of wine please!) on Christmas Eve.
The plate is a large and solid serving plate measuring at 32x32cm and is also ideal for serving nibbles at a festive gathering or even Christmas cake and mince pies on Christmas Day and Boxing Day too. Little Kristian loves it and it’ll be a very special Christmas addition for years to come. This weekend I’m popping along to the launch of Etsy House, the first-ever UK Etsy pop-up shop located in the heart of London’s Covent Garden. The three-day pop-up shop will feature products for sale from Etsy sellers as well as workshops and the chance to order personalised items from Etsy sellers, who will be crafting live during the event.
