If you haven’t been before – The House Fair is a four-day festival of interior design run by House & Garden Magazine and taking place June 22-25 at Olympia, London. It’s packed full of inspiration for your home with products and decorating ideas. If you love reading interior blogs and magazines then you won’t want to miss The House Fair – imagine a huge space with all those styled room sets where you can wander around and imagine them in your own home? The Amara Interior Blog Awards (check out the blogger’s trip to Wedgwood last week) team kindly sent me some complementary tickets to The House Fair to giveaway. Sam Hood , co-founder and creative director at Amara Living put forward a brief to 3 interior design bloggers to create summer living styled room sets for the show. Martyn White, from Martyn White Designs, Grant from Interior Style Hunter and Gabriella Palumbo from Flat15 will be joining Sam for an open discussion on the Friday of the show at 3pm.
The guidelines given to the bloggers was to style any type of room or outdoor space in a way that expresses their style. I’m keen to see whether they’ll feature current trends e.g. tropical, copper, blush pinks, or the bloggers can look beyond what’s currently on the market and define future trends themselves.
