My birthday ‘I wish’ list

As it’s my birthday next week on 1 July, I thought I’d put together a fun blog post featuring my birthday ‘I wish’ list of blogger essentials.

Soon, I’ll be upgrading my home working spot from my kitchen table to a dedicated home office and so it’s a good time for me to focus on sorting out my blogger essentials and technology! At the moment I’m using a Samsung laptop and iPhone 5c for photography which is all well and good, but there are better products out there for bloggers. In an ideal world, I’d love an iMac for my blogging and part-time job – I’m a digital comms exec by day. The new Canon EOS M3 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6 STM Lenslooks fantastic and would allow me to point and shoot with far better results than from my trusty iPhone. The in built WI-fi is a must have for any blogger to allow you to quickly upload images to WordPress or share via the social media channels. I’d love the Canon EOS M3 in white, but it’s only available in black in the UK – but there’s £50 cashback summer offer!

It’s inspired by a vintage camera bag and just the right size for all of my blogger essentials as well as for everyday use too. It’s an elegant and timeless leather bag and the cream crocus colour would go with most outfits too.

I’d love a Daniel Wellington watch – my current watch will be 11 years old next week and I love the sporty yet classic style of this watch. I went to Canterbury University and so I’ve chosen the Classic Canterbury Ladies watch with a NATO strap. It would have come in handy for tomorrow’s Round the island yacht race in which I’m taking part for the first time! After ten hours of racing, I’ll definitely need a spa break (any mum’s dream gift!).
