I’ve been scouring the online shops for a new bird house (also called a nest box apparently…) and it’s not easy finding really stylish bird houses and feeders. I still can’t decide between them, although I do love these shaker style bird houses from the RHS! Bird feeders can make a lovely feature for your garden. They’re often something that you look at quite a lot as you watch the birds taking a nibble… so why not make yours a quirky, fun or stylish bird feeder?
With bird boxes, it’s a good idea to get one with a hinged door. This allows you to clean it out each year in between tenants! Hang them high from a tree, wall or fence, well out of reach of cats, and watch birds come flocking to set up home.
