Back in November I went along to the M&S Spring Summer press preview and have been keeping their 2017 interior trends under wraps until their launch this month! Forget underwear… M&S homeware is where it’s at and their latest ranges are their best yet (IMHO). Four striking 2017 interior trends and although I loved elements from each of them – there’s one clear winner for me in their Luxe Revival range. Let’s take a look at what M&S have to offer… just click on the images to see the products on M&S’ site.
Soft Vintage
Cosy cottage interiors get a facelift with the new soft vintage range from M&S. Plenty of pretty pastel colours and floral prints make this SS17 range really pretty and feminine. William Morris (associated with the British arts and crafts movement in the 1800s) prints on the wall give a calm vintage feel to this collection. Layering different fabrics and textures brings this look up-to-date and not too ‘grandma’s formal living room’! Just click on each image to see more information about the products…
Safari
Ooooh I love this statement style! M&S have created an exciting and bold range which is certainly sophisticated rather than gaudy – and that can be hard to pull off when working with animal prints. The cool blue calms the overall style and the marble Conran Farley coffee tables are a match made in heaven with gold/brass home accessories. Matching an animal print armchair with a tan leather sofa and plenty of white would be the ideal balance for this look. Just stay away from hot pink as it’d be game-over for your style kudos!
Marigold
The second of M&S’ 2017 interior trends which allow you to step back and draw inspiration from the past. Bright, bold and playful prints in ochre and burnt orange give a nod to seventies style. Mid-century furniture in the Hayward range give an element of nostalgia whilst quilted detailing, floral prints and delicate lace trims make for a cosy, retro feel.
Luxe Revival
Regular readers will know I’m a sucker for Art-deco interiors – matching that with bold jewel colours make this my favourite of M&S’ 2017 interior trends. I want it ALL please!!
Oozing 1920s Gatsby glam with decorative geometric patterns and over-exaggerated button detailing. Clean lines and a bold jewel colour palette bring a modern twist on this style. Gold statement accessories and luxurious lighting work together to create a sophisticated, contemporary look. And you certainly don’t need to be a millionaire to make your home look like The Savoy!
In fact, I have my eye on the antique brass chandelier above for my living room. I’ve been after something in this style for ages and not found anything affordable until now! Thank goodness for Marks and Spencer!

I love the prettiness of the floral bedspread, and the little brass animals, but it’s the Luxe Revival that I’m really drawn to. I absolutely love the tufted velvet footstool, and the gold accessories give the perfect glam touch. I’m even in need of a footstool! (as much as anyone is ever in need of a footstool anyway!)
I love the art deco style. Living in Paris I visit the flea markets and there’s lots of this lovely stuff, I just adore this era! Now I can I get it at M&S!
I’m loving the gold pieces – that tray and bar cart are lovely x
They have some lovely stuff. Sadly our local M&S is really small, but I guess I can always browse their site. I love some of the upholstery in your photos!
I LOVE the marigold look. I would have this in my house

I am so pleased to see the art deco look making a come back in home decor. It’s such a glamorous look, and one I could definitely live with
