Nursery lighting and night light ideas

Elephant nursery light

Choosing the right nursery lighting for your child’s bedroom can be a real challenge. Finding the right balance between style and functionality – and a light soft enough to soothe your child but not too bright as to disturb their sleep is no easy task. I’m on the hunt for a new nursery night light after banishing two to the loft and was nicely surprised at the range of nursery lighting available at the moment. Although I can’t seem to choose between these… eeny meeny miney mo… which is your favourite? Just click on each image to find out more…

My top tip – is that you can always replace the light bulbs in your nursery lighting so a softer light. 18 watt or under is ideal, the lower your bulb wattage, the softer your nursery lighting will be. I’d recommend taking a look at Lights4Living or LED Hut as I find that buying lightbulbs online is much cheaper. I tend to place an order once a year for bulbs for the whole house and then I always have a spare! And then you don’t ever have to think about them either as I always used to forget putting spare bulbs in the trolley in the supermarket. Am I the only one that does this? ; )
