Flytastic aeroplane themed nursery or children’s room

Flight mobile

Depending on whether you’re after an aeroplane themed nursery or just some fun aeroplane items to decorate your kid’s room with – I have some ideas for you! Last month we went on holiday with my two-year old son and even though it wasn’t his first time on an aeroplane, it was the first time he acknowledged what was happening. He absolutely LOVED flying (thank goodness) and has been obsessed with aeroplanes ever since! He’s at that age now where he’s crossed over from being a baby to a toddler and he knows what he wants, and he wants airplanes! So I’ve put together a mood board of some beautiful airplane themed items for your child’s nursery or room.

When Pavilion Broadway asked me to review their Authentic Models flight Mobile, I thought I’d hand that task over to my son… and he absolutely adores it! The flight mobile came beautifully packaged and readily assembled, so all I had to do was take it out of the box, remove the protective bags, hang it from the ceiling et voila! Each aeroplane is beautifully crafted after 1920s model airplanes and the bright colours are really striking. The stainless steel wire and nylon lines are very strong and yet thin enough to give the impression that the aeroplanes are gliding through the air. Take a look at the video below to see the Authentic Models flight Mobile in action.

My son loves watching the aeroplanes flying above his bed as he falls asleep, and he’s even learned all the colours now. I’ve taken a picture of what the mobile looks like from a child or baby’s point of view… it’s not just for us adults after all!
