Black, white and pale pink is a great combination of colours which can work in any room in your home. Using black and white in your home can make a bold statement – adding a touch of the palest pink can add warmth and make a room look less clinical. Pale pinks can range from a cool frosty pink to a dusty rose pink – take a look at the mood boards and themes below and see which you prefer. By keeping the colour scheme so light and simple, it allows you to get creative with pattern – like this statement graphic rug in my black, white and pale pink living room décor ideas below:
1. Frandsen bazar pendant light large available in black and white from Design 55 £162 | 2. Pale chalk pink emulsion from Laura Ashley £30 for 2.5l | 3. Adding some touches of black to a pale pink and white bedroom can add some definition and focus to the space. While some of my other pale pink, black and white mood boards are fresh and funky, I wanted to use this one to show how this colour combination can be more classical and luxurious too. The Bamboo Papers are an exotic pattern adapted from an iconic 19th Century Japanese print recreated by Farrow & Ball as a two-colour block-printed collection. It’s a real ‘wow’ wallpaper which would look fab matched with softer shades such as pale or dusty pink.
1. Black and white bamboo wallpaper from Farrow & Ball £90 | 2. Parrot lamp base from Laura Ashley £85 | 3. Noir 2-wick candle from The White Company £35 | 4. Vintage playing cards ‘HAPPILY EVER AFTER’ frame from Oliver Bonas £95 | 5. Pink Lexington quilted linen bedspread from Homeology £349 | 6. Pink and white lulu scoop chair from Made.com £399 | 7. Black and white brushed cotton bedding set from Made.com from £10
Black, white and pale pink is also a fab colour scheme for a tween or teen bedroom. A balance between traditional ‘girly’ pink bedroom and a more sophisticated look. I love these prints from the Debut collection at BODIE and FOU – they have many more available so take a look!
1. Pale pink Opera linen stripe wallpaper from Homebase £12.99 | 2. Debut print collection from BODIE and FOU £35 | 3. Pale pink velvet love tub from Oliver Bonas £625 | 4. Pale pink rose battery fairy lights from Notonthehighstreet.com £11.50
This black, white and pale pink bathroom bring together traditional and modern elements. The minimalist black trolley with glass shelving allows you to add your stamp with colour through pink bathroom accessories. Plump pale pink Egyptian cotton towels adds cosy comfort too.

Black and white bathroom accessories from House of Fraser £8-£24 | 6. Black pepper three wick candle from Molton Brown £55 | 7. Victorian black and white bathroom tiles from Walls and Floors £15.95
And our last moodboard is for a pale pink, black and white nursery theme. Pink has always been a traditional colour for a girl – but if you’re not going for that ‘famous disproportionate doll’ look and want something a bit different, then this may be the perfect colour combination for you. I think it’s cool, quirky and very stylish : )
Design-conscious parents will love this pale pink eco-friendly baby cot. It’s chic, simple and modern, and are made from wood sourced from sustainable forests and can be positioned in three height positions, which means that you can use it a lot longer.
1. ABC nursery print from BODIE and FOU £45 | 2. Esker drum pendant shade from Made.com £12 | 3. Pale pink and white nursery mushroom light from The White Company £70 | 4. Hibou home portraits wallpaper from wallpaperdirect £70 | 5. Modern baby cot, ivory plum from BODIE and FOU £120 | 6. Northcote regular blackboard nursery cupboard unit from GLTC £108
