The original high Gothic windows (available from Infinity Home Improvement) provide the kitchen with plenty of light, which adds to the feeling of airiness and space. Classically simple furniture has been used to complement the architecture of this former chapel. Neutral granite worktops and travertine flooring blend with the carved stone supports in the roof and the furniture is hand painted in neutral, soft colours from the Chiselwood Paint Collection. The pared-down, classical style of the furniture is enhanced by the balanced proportions of the layout, deliberately designed to be as symmetrical as possible.
