I’ve been busy today researching grey bedroom ideas and became completely inspired by Farrow & Ball’s Skylight 205. (See which shade of grey I chose for my bedroom in the end!) A beautiful fresh and modern colour which will look simply stunning in any bedroom. Although the paint colour you end up choosing really sets the tone of your bedroom, accessories are also really important to tie everything together. I’ve selected some fantastic pieces that I hope will help you with your grey bedroom ideas.
Grey bedding will finish off your grey bedroom design and it’s a great way to add some pattern and texture to break up a single grey tone. John Lewis have some gorgeous grey bedding at the moment and I’ve picked out my favourite below – just click on each image for more info and pricing…
Textured throws and cushions break up simple grey bedding and adds a touch of luxury to your bedroom. This is a great option if you don’t want to add another colour or patterns to your grey bedroom decor.
Mustard is a great choice as an accent colour for a grey bedroom and works really well with these patterned grey bedding sets. Don’t be afraid to use clashing patterns either. As long as the colours are complimentary, clashing patterns can look fabulously stylish and a great idea if you want something a little less dull…
You can never go wrong with wide-set stripes in your bedding. I would stay away from pinstripe though as the last thing you want when going to sleep is that dizzy feeling when trying to focus on your bed! This look is great for a touch of coastal calm in your grey bedroom.
Which is your favourite bedding set? Leave me a comment below and let me know!
